FINLAND B Barrel SNIPER Rifle 1942 7.62x54R M39 Valmet M62/S rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm with Galil type original side folding stock in very nice shape. Made in Finland and regarded as the high water mark of the AK family of weapons, this model is semi automatic only and was imported by Interarms before the ban. There will never be any more in the States than there are now, and this model with the RK62 pistol grip (as opposed to the bicycle handlebar style) with its Galil style side folding stock was brought into the country in very low numbers. Has the desirable “cheese grater” ventilated handguard, no chipping or peeling of the rubberized coating at all. Rifle is used but in very good shape. Bore is great. Please see photos for detailed images. No pitting on bolt face, carrier or piston. Flip up night sight dot front sight as well as standard post and 3 prong wire-cutting flash hider with original Finnish bayonet lug. Retains original dark phosphate parkerized finish with very strong finish on internals as well. Overall the park is in 90-95% shape.
