This Chester County Amory listing is for a Beretta Model PM12S 9x19mm Pre May Dealer Sample Only factory sub machine gun.

Considered by many as one of the smoothest and easiest sub machine guns to shoot accurately and with pinpoint control, the PM12S was Beretta’s 1978 upgraded redesign of their venerable Model 12. It features a unique, and easily engaged grip safety design that allows the trigger and the bolt to be locked in a closed or open position to prevent an accidental discharge if the weapon is mishandled or dropped.

This PM12S is in excellent mechanical condition. The internals do no show much wear or use, at all. The bore is bright and shiny with crisp rifling.

Overall, cosmetically, the gun is also in excellent condition, with no noted dings, dents, cracks, gouges, etc. in the metalwork. The stock notes some minor finish damage in the painted finish on the left side of the stock when in its extended position, and there are a few, small handling marks in the finish on the rear end cap. Other than that, the majority of the original painted finish on the firearm is in great condition, with only some minor handling marks. The grips are fully intact, with no cracks noted, and only minor light surface scratches in the polymer (see photos for more accurate representation).

This sub machine gun is completely factory made in Italy by Beretta and was imported through the Beretta USA facility in Accokeek, Maryland. This weapon is currently on a dealer restricted Form 3 that lists “Beretta” as the manufacturer and “PM12S” as the model. It will come with one 32rd magazine.

This Pre-May 1986 Dealer Sample Only sub machine gun is available for purchase by Class 3 FFL/SOT holders, only. It is a “keeper” gun, that may be retained by a licensee upon surrender of their FFL license. This model is currently on a Form 3.
