This Chester County Armory listing is for an unfired Colt M16A2 5.56mm NATO transferable machine gun, with the unique and collectible serial number of A8000000.
This new-in-the-box machine gun was originally to be featured in Colt’s official factory archives and museum as a display example of a Colt-produced M16A2 for the commercial market. From Colt, this model wound its way into the personal collection of former Colt executive John Keosayian. We received this transferable machine gun directly from John Keosayian.
This unique, commercial model Colt M16A2 transferable machine gun features the desirable SAFE, SEMI, and BURST markings and fire control configuration, a 20″ fixed A2 upper, and a fixed rifle stock. This machine gun is in superb, museum quality, mechanical and cosmetic condition. This M16A2 has never been fired outside of any factory testing that would have been performed at the Colt factory.
This investment grade, collectible Colt M16A2 is a fully transferable machine gun and is currently on a Form 3.
