This Chester County Armory listing is for a Colt M203 40mm grenade launcher, registered Destructive Device. It comes mounted to a rare and hard-to-find Knight’s Armament Company stand alone stock system, KAC Part no. 96251.
This Colt M203 grenade launcher features a rare, Colt 10.3″ rifled 40mm barrel. It attaches to the Knight’s stock system using a standard Colt M203 barrel attachment, the same way it would attach to an M4 rifle upper. Arguably the most compact and user-friendly stand alone stock system available for the M203, this KAC stock system is fully functional, with all mechanisms operating appropriately. It features KAC’s collapsible stock, 350M sights, a mil-spec picatinny top rail, and two forward mounted picatinny accessory rails.
This weapon is in excellent mechanical condition. The bore is very bright and shiny, with crisp, clean rifling. The bolt face is extremely clean, with no marks in the anodization. Cosmetically, the M203 receiver shows some handling and light surface scratches in the anodization, particularly on the right side of the barrel. The angled areas around the trigger also show some finish wear, and there is an area on the receiver that has been machined flat, presumably at the factory as it was performed prior to anodization of the receiver. The stock system is also in excellent cosmetic condition, with only minor handling marks in the anodization.
This NFA registered Destructive Device will come with an original orange chamber flag and a Colt M203 factory manual and bore brush, still sealed in the mil-spec bag from Colt. This Colt M203 40mm grenade launcher is currently on a Form 3.
