This Chester County Armory listing is for a Spanish-made Star Model Z-63 9mm Pre-May Dealer Sample factory original sub machine gun.
The unique sub machine gun design of the Z-63 features a double crescent trigger that allows for either semi-automatic or full-automatic fire without the need for an external selector switch. Firing mode is chosen by the operator based on which part of the trigger is pulled.
This particular model also features an under folding stock, an 8″ barrel, original crackle finish, and is in overall great condition. Mechanically, the model is excellent condition, with only limited wear noted on the internal mechanisms. The polymer grip does note a small crack in the rear of the plastic pistol grip (see photo), but is in otherwise excellent condition.
Cosmetically, this weapon is in very good condition, as well, with only minor surface handling marks noted in the exterior original finish.
This Pre-May 1986 Dealer Sample Only sub machine gun is available for purchase by Class 3 FFL/SOT holders, only. It is a “keeper” gun, that may be retained by a licensee upon surrender of their FFL license. This model is currently on a Form 3.
