Operation stays strictly semi-automatic: one cartridge fires per trigger pull, and nothing about the sear, striker, or slide is modified. What fits it?

This is the non-select configuration, meaning forced-reset mode only, with no manual switch to a standard trigger pull. Shooters coming from a stock trigger tend to notice the difference within the first magazine or two, which is usually enough to settle the question for them one way or the other, and most don't go back to the factory trigger once they've felt the faster reset.
