Shipping & FFL Transfer Information
Accessories, parts and magazines ship directly to you. Firearms ship only to a licensed FFL dealer. Enter your dealer as the shipping address or leave it blank and we assign a licensed dealer near you at no extra cost. California customers: handguns must be on the California roster, the Firearm Safety Certificate and DROS are completed at the dealer, and the 10-day waiting period applies.
Shipping Policy
- Firearm Shipping Restrictions:
- We will ONLY transfer ownership of a firearm to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL).
- If you do not hold a valid FFL, we will transfer your purchased firearm to a licensed gun dealer in your state.
- Ensure that the firearm is legal to own in your state1.
- Shipping Fees:
- Firearms ship FREE at CaliforniaFirearms.com (excluding long guns shipping to AK, HI, and US Territories).
- Our minimum $9 shipping charge covers most accessory orders.
- We combine shipping for multiple small accessories on the same order.
- Additional shipping fees may apply for accessories shipped from different warehouses.
- Shipping Insurance:
- Optional shipping insurance is available at checkout.
- We are not responsible for uninsured items lost or damaged in transit.
- Processing and Transit Times:
- Orders process and ship within 3-7 business days upon receipt of full payment and a valid FFL (if applicable).
- Expedited shipping is available upon request.
- We do NOT ship to PO Boxes.
Return Policy
- General Return Information:
- Returns must be requested within 30 days of receipt of the order.
- Send the item to the address on our website with a note stating you are returning it for a refund.
- Used Guns Return:
- Customers have 10 calendar days from the date of transfer to request a return.
- We accept returns for malfunctioning used firearms during this time frame.
