The ROOK Tactical rear rail system is a machined stainless-steel replacement for the stamped rear rail module that ships inside Polymer80 PF940v2, PF940C, and PF940SC frames. It's a fitment part for 80% Glock-pattern pistol builds, and it exists because the factory stamped rail is the single most common failure point on those frames — thin sheet metal that can bend or crack during slide installation or after a few thousand rounds. ROOK mills theirs from solid stainless bar stock instead of stamping it, which is the whole point of the upgrade.

What is it used for?

It replaces the rear rail module in a Polymer80 frame before or after you've completed your 80% build, either as a preventive upgrade or as a repair if your factory stamped rail has already bent or cracked. Full-length machined rails give the slide a squarer, more consistent track than the shorter stamped rail segments, which matters for both reliability and how the gun feels cycling.

Who is this not for?

Skip it if you're not running a Polymer80 PF940-family frame — it won't fit a factory Glock frame or a different 80% brand. It's also not a beginner's first upgrade if you're not comfortable double-checking slide rail cuts and fitment yourself; a poorly seated rail can cause more problems than the stamped part it replaced.

Is it worth $34.19?
