This Chester County Armory listing is for a Pre-May Dealer Sample Only sub machine gun plus an extra parts kit.
Steyr’s answer to the creation of the UZI sub machine gun, the MPi-69 has often been called a refined version of the UZI. This model is in excellent overall condition. It starts with an excellent condition but used registered receiver (serial no. 3936) and was then upgraded with all new, unfired parts kit of a later production MPi-69 (serial no. 38783).
All the new parts (complete bolt assembly, lower receiver, barrel, cocking handle, sling, trapezoid style magazine and barrel nut) are in unused, unfired condition. The used, older parts that were upgraded are all also included. All the old parts, except the polymer lower, are in very good condition. The secondary, original polymer lower that is included has a crack in the trigger guard/safety area of the lower, as well as a few small surface cracks at the front of the receiver by the barrel nut.
This listing will come with all parts shown, as well as the saw cut front and rear sections of the de-milled receiver from which the parts kit was obtained (not pictured). Please note: Steyr made several variations of magazines and lowers for the Mpi-69 throughout its production that are not interchangeable with each other. Each magazine offered here is specific to the lower it originally came with and cannot be used with the opposite one.
This Pre-May 1986 Dealer Sample Only sub machine gun is available for purchase by Class 3 FFL/SOT holders, only. It is a “keeper” gun, that may be retained by a licensee upon surrender of their FFL license. This model is currently on a Form 3.
